Anaheim Hills Planned Community Association (AHPCA) was established over 40 years ago, in 1977. This Master association was a great idea at the time; to have a governing body oversee 39 sub-associations in order to create a common set of property rules and architectural guidelines.
Today, Anaheim Hills has matured and more than doubled to roughly 100+ communities. Yet, only these original 39 sub-associations are required to:
(1) pay AHPCA quarterly dues in addition to their monthly HOA dues, and,
(2) abide by both their own community HOA guidelines and architectural standards in addition to the AHPCA Master guidelines and architectural standards.
What made sense 40 years ago no longer aligns with the Anaheim Hills of today. Drive through the community and it will be very difficult to discern which associations are part of AHPCA and those that are not.
It's time to begin the dialogue and implement positive change that provides equal property guidelines and assessments for all communities and homeowners within Anaheim Hills.
